Overnight we have managed to migrated approximately 2000 of the affected customer mailboxes, leaving about 600 mailboxes to migrate from the two older file servers which were unstable yesterday (lon-file-5/6).

This migration should ensure that the speed and performance for accessing their email is prompt and reliable for the affected customers.

Customers should also note that in recent weeks we have been changing the format and internal structure of mailboxes, and this work was complete a few days ago. (http://www.gradwell.com/company/blog/2008/03/03/changes-to-imappop3-service/). If customers can login ok, but cannot see all their folders, then they are kindly requested to contact the support team.

All customers should ensure their IMAP programs connect to pop3.gradwell.net (79.135.125.10), our new load balancer, to take advantage of the improved performance.

To update customers on the IMAP mail issues experienced Tuesday/Wednesday - two of our older file servers, handling mail for have been randomly rebooting. These servers handle 2900 of our 17,000 mailboxes.

We are therefore accelerating the migration plan from these two server (lon-file-5/6) to our new vmware based file servers, and hope to complete this work this week.

We are currently experiencing an issue with one of our back-end file servers and are currently working to address the issue.

This server is currently being rebooted and we are hoping to restore mail access to mailboxes on this server as quickly as possible.

Our file servers are now fully operational and all mail issues should be resolved, if you have a problem with a mailbox, please report it to our support department and we will be happy to investigate.

We are currently experiencing a problem with one of our back-end mail storage servers. This machine is currently rebooting and we are aiming to have it back in service as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
